Friday afternoon I had beers and chicken wings with my boy DizkoDan.\u00a0 The wing factory makes some tasty chicken wings.\u00a0 Afterwards I believe, if I recall correctly, we went to a new vegetarian Indian restaurant for dinner.\u00a0 It never ceases to surprise me just how long I refused to eat Indian food based on the assumption that “anything Indian” had curry in it, I hate curry, and just how wrong I was.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Saturday, I headed over to DizkoDan’s house around 8 am, a lot later than I had anticipated due to my inability to fall asleep the night before.\u00a0 I arrived at DizkoDan’s house and after a few minutes we went to Home Depot to get about 25 bags of mulch, his yard needed the addition of new mulch in some spots.\u00a0 While pulling weeds from the surroundings of his peach tree I mentioned that perhaps he ought to get some weedblock and lay it down around the tree.\u00a0 He agreed but he said he was just “too lazy” to do it and if he were going to go through the trouble of it, he might as well built the retaining wall he had been meaning to built since last year.\u00a0 I believe my answer went something like “let’s go, we aint got nothing to do”.\u00a0 Punque, DizkoDan’s wife, wanted to come along to help pick out the stone, so we all got in their SUV and drove to the nursery and then back to Home Depot to check out pricing and availability of stone.\u00a0 Punque settle for something that matched what the slate she already had in her stair that leads from her house to her garage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The stone for the retaining wall was purchased at the nursery by their house.\u00a0 There were two memorable things at the nursery a) a patio statue of a pig that appeared to be inviting people to poke him in the butt b) the look and reaction from the people in the nursery when we told them we were going to upload the stones in just one trip, by hand, into a 2008 pathfinder.\u00a0 Punque was nice enough to help load the stones into the vehicle, but she had lots of errands to run as soon as we made it home.\u00a0 Punque, once\u00a0again demonstrated her awesomness\u00a0when she went to get us food before running around and getting her errands done.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Roughly\u00a06 hours and\u00a0some beers later\u00a0the retaining wall, mulching and\u00a0weedblock was completed.\u00a0 Punque took\u00a0pictures and she was content with the results.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
DizkoDan’s neighbors came over for dinner, margaritas were had, I ended up drizunk.\u00a0 PS: I shouldn’t drink that much tequila in one sitting, or ever for that matter.<\/p>\n
Sunday, we went to get breakfast and then to the outlet mall.\u00a0 I wanted to go to the outlet mall in Leesburg to get some shorts but nothing was the right price for the ridiculous designs they had.\u00a0 We ended up getting shoes instead, tmt man.\u00a0 Later on that Sunday DizkoDan and I went for\u00a0a short but rather enjoyable bike ride, roughly about 8 miles.\u00a0 After the bike ride we headed out to Nissan Pavillion to see Motley Crue.\u00a0 I had high expectations and had it not been for the shennanigans that were executed prior to the concert I would’ve been even more dissapointed.\u00a0 PS: Dont leave an empty cooler outside your car, you might find massive amounts of empty beer and vodka bottles when you get back to it.\u00a0 OH yeah Vince Neil is a tool.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This week is blah, but I am starting to get too bored too quickly.\u00a0 Normal people do not get this bored as easily, I might need psychological help.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I went jogging last night because I was bored, 7 miles and nearly 1:30hr later I was back at home, still bored but this time I was armed with a tuna sandwhich and wonton soup.\u00a0 I couldnt sleep until 2pm and I was up by 5am….fun times.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
