That shit was harder than I had anticipated, I guess I should’ve studied instead of sleeping for a great part of sunday and most of monday. I still dont know how I feel about this test, I mean I am by no means going to fail this shit but I think that it might yield a dissapointing passing grade… biiiiitches
I seem to have misplaced my camera, and I dont even know where to begin looking for it. Last time I recall having my camera was at Overflow uhmm I dunno maybe a month or so ago, if you guys would be kind enough to check your cars and your homes (ed, rob) I’d appreciate it.
Today in lab we had to take our own set of fingerprints and then classify each one of them, nothing really big or exciting nor was it anything that demanded critical thinking; in fact it was quite boring to be completely honest. This lab however was quite possibly one of the saddest things I’ve seen in a long time; there was this chick in there that went “which one is my right hand?” and she was actually fucking serious about it!!!! Then there was the two chicks that couldnt fucking get the order in which you are supposed to transfer the ink to the paper, despite the fact that the sheet is label “right thumb, right forefinger, right ring finger” and then last but not least there were the ones that couldnt fucking do the inking right. If the teacher tells you “hey thats a lil too much ink” then she is probably fucking right, please remove some of the ink before doing your set of fingerprints instead of going “oh my god, all I got is a smudge on mine, I cant see any details on my fingerprints…why?”
The one thing I found fascinating is that the only ppl having problems with lab were girls and of course the token gay guy that just didnt want to get his hands dirty
for the record: Fingerprint dusting and lifting is cool as fizuck. I guess it helped that I was doing so well with the powders that everyone else in class was having a bitch of a time. My teacher ended up keeping one of my lifted fingerprints and the styrofoam cup which I had dusted so she could show it to the class and her other students.
I cant wait until the luminol lab, it is going to rule even more!!!!
I cannot deny that it is a fact I enjoy a holiday just as much as anybody, however I just realized that because of this past holiday I lost three hours of lecture and lab combined. I somehow feel cheated out of a valuable learning experience, I guess I would neither bitch nor moan as much about this if the class in question would be something extremely boring (to me) as english literature (or any muthafucking literature for that matter).
Sitting here as I look and my schedule of classes I’ve come to the realization that I will lose another day or two because of holidays; I couldnt help but ask “what the shizzle is wrong with you man??? anybody else would be happy to get out of school for any reason!!!”.
I can only hope and pray that I would not be subject to fire drills or bomb threats, for I would once again feel cheated.
In a completely different subject altogether, fucking summer needs to be over, I am completely tired of goddamm summer.

7) Blood spatter pattern creation and photographing
8) DNA extraction protocol
9) Mock crime scene
10)Microscopic hair/sperm examination
11)Superglue fuming (pending acquisition of proper materials and weather conditions)
12)Luminol experimentation/photography
13)Witness an autopsy (with luck it will be a really badly decomposing body with insect infestation)
14)I get to practice some photography for class 🙂
and I havent even seen what my forensic pathology class is going to be like

arrgghh oh well I’ll just have to buy a used monitor again… anyone has a used 17 or 19 inch monitor to sell for cheap?
I’d like to thank office Clark for not giving me a ticket yesterday afternoon, he instead wrote me a warning and asked me to slow down. I admit that in the past year my views on law enforcement have changed dramatically, but it wasnt until yesterday that I never actually had a chance to say “Thanks” to a police officer and actually mean it.
I could go into details about what happened, but most ppl that I talk to in regular basis already know about it.
